We at Felixstowe Art Group
Are off to pastures new!
So sad to leave our Bent Hill home.
It is all that we knew.

We’ve filled the walls with colour,
It’s a delight to peer inside!
Each exhibition’s handmade
Our creations hang with pride.

We take our turn in gallery,
Help customers and reside.
It’s exciting! Looks in the window,
Patrons come and see inside.

We paint and sketch and scribble
We craft and draw and make.
Displayed – a range of subject matter,
In which we all partake.

So we shouldn’t feel a sadness,
For our efforts are an accolade.
Locals know of Bent Hill Gallery,
Sales are regularly made.

We fill that corner beach spot
With a wealth of all things art
One neat ‘n’ tidy presentation
Thanks to the clubs own Mrs Smart.

So as you pack your pictures
And the boards get taken down
Keep hope that it’s just temporary
And a new home may get found.

I’ve so enjoyed exhibiting,
As I’m sure have all of you.
Keep smiling, Keep creating
Out into F.A.G. pastures new.
